Diamond Sow Garden has a history as rich as butter. The Farm was first established in the 1960s when a group of free spirits decided to leave their posts at the Woodstock Music Festival, and other, less notable music festivals, digging fire pits and pioneering trails, to begin a new adventure in Llano, New Mexico. It seemed like a logical, and obvious, transition.
Lead by a man known as Wavy Gravy, the group of hippies spread love and happiness throughout the land. Diamond Sow Garden has evolved since the 60s and grows fresh greens for the surrounding Taos, NM community. It is rumored that the former communes love and happiness can still be measured in the soil and makes our produce taste better.
